May bank holiday we were greeted with amazing conditions down here in Newquay Cornwall for coasteering – Sunshine no wind a small amount of swell, all of which means great conditions and a busy weekend for KingCoasteer !
We had several groups booked in over the weekend all of which loved all the sessions with several family’s coasteering with us and a stag group who were staying in Newquay were coasteering with Kingcoasteer in the afternoon and surfing Kingsurf in the morning – a great way to wash away the cobwebs from the night before. https://www.kingsurf.co.uk/
All groups had slightly different routes and challenges but everyone left with a smile on there face and a feeling of achieving something over the weekend.
We took all groups to our Porth route, it was great fun as the small conditions and large tides allowed the groups to see a whole different range of caves and routes which are sometimes submerged by the tide. Along the way we encountered our resident friendly seal who love’s to pop his head out the sea and say hello to us !
The great thing about all of our coasteer routes is that whatever the groups needs we can tailor the session accordingly. The beauty of coasteering is that the surroundings around you in are always changing according to the wind, swell and tide allowing different routes and sessions, no two sessions are ever the same . There is no pressure at all to do all the jumps and challenges around the route there is always a ‘skip this’ option.
‘The aim of our routes is to teach you some new skills and gradually build your confidence up enough for some of the final jumps and challenges’
All of our guides are not only trained to the highest level in water safety and guiding but also in house training of ensuring all routes cater to the group is key to KingCoasteer.
